Design Operations Manager

Position Overview The Design Operations Manager is responsible for operationalizing and delivering the visual brand strategy crafted by the U.S. Category Design Manager. Reporting to the Category Design Manager, the role ensures that brand assets are accurately adapted, flawlessly executed, and efficiently deployed across all omnichannel consumer touchpoints. This position focuses on production excellence, workflow management, artwork quality, and execution readiness, turning design intent into market-ready output at scale. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end execution for packaging, digital, retail, and promotional assets. Translate approved design concepts and brand systems into final, deployable deliverables. Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and technical specifications across channels. Adapt global and U.S. level creative assets into local‑market executions with accuracy and fidelity. Apply, update, and maintain brand guidelines, toolkits, and template systems. Oversee artwork routing, annotation, regulatory requirements, version control, color management, and pre‑press. Manage production partners, packaging studios, CAST, and execution agencies to ensure zero‑defect delivery. Build and optimize workflows, timelines, and cross‑functional approval processes. Identify execution efficiencies and implement scalable asset systems. Maintain high standards of quality control across all asset outputs. Partner closely with Shopper Marketing, Brand Activation, Digital, Sales, and eCommerce teams to deploy final assets. Ensure channel requirements, timing, and technical specifications are met across the activation calendar. Manage execution vendors and agencies focused on adaptation, artwork, and production, not creative ideation. Oversee SOWs, delivery timelines, budgets, and production accuracy. Lead through operational discipline, precision, and detail orientation, fostering strong collaboration with internal teams and external studio partners. Champion a culture of executional excellence and continuous improvement. Serve as the organization’s guardian of quality, ensuring assets meet brand standards and market requirements. Success Measures On-time, accurate asset delivery. Zero rework due to artwork/production errors. High brand consistency across touchpoints. Effective cross-functional coordination. Efficient, scalable operational systems. Qualifications 7+ years in design operations, omnichannel asset delivery, packaging production, or artwork management. Deep technical knowledge of production workflows, pre‑press, print processes, and digital specifications. Strong project management skills, managing high-volume, multi-channel execution. Experience managing agencies and production vendors. Proficiency in artwork evaluation, file setup, color accuracy, and versioning. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Extreme attention to detail and quality assurance. Location & Working Model Warren, NJ – hybrid model with an in-office presence of three days per week. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $104,283 – $143,389 USD annually + bonus. Benefits include a comprehensive package with a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, healthcare coverage paid for the majority of costs, and discretionary bonus opportunities.
