Duration: 6 months Position SAP BTP Consultant Location Dallas, Texas (Onsite) Project SAP S/4HANA 3PL Transformation and DevOps Support Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA 3PL implementation and DevOps transformation program. The consultant will design, develop, integrate, and manage SAP Business Technology Platform solutions while enabling CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native development practices across the SAP landscape. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP BTP services, integrations, DevOps methodologies, and SAP S/4HANA logistics processes. Key Responsibilities Design and develop solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Build and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA, third-party logistics (3PL) systems, and external applications. Configure and support SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh. Develop applications using SAP Build, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP Business Application Studio. Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, transport management, and release governance. Monitor SAP BTP environments and support system reliability, availability, and performance. Collaborate with functional teams across EWM, MM, SD, TM, and logistics operations. Support application lifecycle management, code reviews, testing, and deployment strategies. Participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend cloud-native SAP development approaches. Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents related to integrations and custom developments. Support security, compliance, and governance standards for SAP cloud applications. Required Skills SAP BTP SAP Integration Suite (CPI) API Management and Event Mesh SAP Build Apps / SAP Build Process Automation SAP Business Application Studio (Client) Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) SAP HANA Cloud SAP Workflow capabilities DevOps CI/CD pipeline implementation GitHub or Azure DevOps Jenkins SAP Transport Management Service (TMS) Automated testing and deployment Version control, release management, and deployment governance SAP and Logistics SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience 3PL, warehouse, transportation, and distribution process knowledge Exposure to EWM, MM, SD, and TM processes SAP Fiori and OData services Integration REST APIs and SOAP services IDoc, RFC, and EDI integrations Integration with third-party logistics platforms Preferred Qualifications SAP BTP or SAP Integration Suite certification Experience with 3PL or logistics operations Exposure to SAP EWM implementations Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies Experience in global onsite-offshore delivery models Mandatory Requirements 8 years of SAP experience with at least 3 years of hands-on SAP BTP experience. Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite and DevOps automation. Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external logistics systems. Strong understanding of cloud architecture and SAP best practices. Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills. USP of the Role / Project Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale SAP S/4HANA 3PL transformation. Hands-on ownership of enterprise-grade SAP BTP solutions and integrations. Exposure to SAP DevOps, automation, and cloud-native architecture. Direct collaboration with business, logistics, warehouse, and transportation stakeholders. High-visibility role supporting a strategic digital supply chain program. Participate in architecture reviews| technical governance| security reviews| and DevOps maturity initiatives.Prepare technical documentation| runbooks| deployment guides| SOPs| and knowledge articles. Provide onsite stakeholder communication and coordinate effectively with offshore delivery teams.
