Specialty Representative, Gastroenterology - Fargo, ND

AbbVie seeks a field-based Specialty Representative for Gastroenterology in the Fargo region to execute brand strategy, manage territory sales, and build customer relationships while meeting financial and performance targets in North Dakota, South Dakota, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and manage territory sales to meet financial targets and key performance indicators
• Develop and execute call plans with SMART objectives, handle objections, and optimize account coverage
• Build and maintain customer relationships by proactively addressing healthcare provider needs and challenges
• Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, disease state, customers, and territory dynamics
• Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates to maximize brand performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years industry experience with 3+ years pharmaceutical/health/science sector
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales with strong presentation and objection-handling skills
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and obtain healthcare industry representative credentialing
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass safe driving requirements
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to influence peers as a credible resource
• In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge specific to therapeutic area
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and proficiency with business tools
