Lead Data Engineering

Salary: $112,700 - 193,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related engineering discipline
• We require 5+ years of experience designing, building, modeling, and supporting data integration processes for data consumption and sharing
• We require 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and data libraries used to profile, transform, and validate large datasets
• We expect demonstrated experience using AI tools and libraries to build AI data corpora, models, and agents with large language models (LLMs)
• We expect familiarity with best practices for data flow patterns across data ingestion, data sharing, and data product delivery
• We need the ability to work under pressure while organizing and prioritizing responsibilities effectively
• We need the ability to quickly understand complex technical and business concepts and communicate them clearly
• Preferred experience includes specialty pharmacy and/or healthcare knowledge
• Preferred experience includes modern healthcare data transport tools such as HL7, FHIR, Redox, Mirth, and HIE
• Preferred Databricks experience and/or certifications, including Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and pipeline integration
• Preferred strong team involvement across the SDLC, including code reviews and establishing best practices for teammates

• We partner with engineering leadership, business leadership, and product teams to design, implement, and optimize data integrations for the CPS Pharmacy Solutions business
• We drive innovation and scalability in inbound and outbound integration processes, ensuring they are automated, high-performing, reliable, recoverable, and auditable
• We collaborate with AI teams to identify and ingest the data they need
• We work within our Enterprise Data Strategy to consume and share data efficiently through data mesh enablement, data mastering, data governance, data certification, and self-service capabilities
• We leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to improve productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
• We evaluate emerging trends to support continuous improvement and strategic innovation
