Job Title: Forklift Driver – Peanut Shelling Facility (Temporary Project)

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $15/hour

Duration: 3 weeks

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Forklift Driver for a peanut shelling facility. This is a short-term project expected to last approximately 3 weeks . Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment and operating forklifts safely and efficiently. There is potential for the assignment to be extended based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift to transport peanuts, materials, and finished product throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks in a timely and safe manner
• Move raw product to shelling and processing areas
• Stage finished goods for shipment or storage
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse or production tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Must have prior forklift operating experience
• Must be able to pass an on-site forklift test
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or agricultural processing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong attendance and reliability are required
• Comfortable working in dusty conditions related to peanut processing

Important Details:

• This is a temporary 3-week assignment
• Candidates must be available for the full duration of the project
• Opportunity for extension beyond 3 weeks based on workload

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $20.00/hr.
