This full-time, onsite contract role involves working 35 hours each week, serving a diverse elementary caseload. With a few openings available, you could be splitting your schedule between two school sites, fostering communication skills and helping students thrive in their educational journeys.

What we’re seeking:

• Active Connecticut SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly encouraged; clinical fellows (CFs) are welcome—with supervision provided where possible
• School-based SLP experience is mandatory
• Willingness to split time across two locations, as needed
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently within district supervision bandwidth
• Must complete district fingerprinting and background checks
• Availability for Zoom interviews
• SLPAs will not be considered for this role

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
• Evaluate speech, language, and communication challenges using evidence-based methods
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
• Engage in scheduled team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
