TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Dubuque, Iowa, 52001!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience in a psych/behavioral health capacity required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. De-escalation certificates (MOAB, MAB, CPI, SAMA) highly preferred and can be obtained during onboarding. Must-Have: - 24 months of current psych/behavioral health experience. - Experience with all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics. - Charge experience required. - EPIC experience required. Description: This position requires working in a behavioral health setting. The unit handles a bed size of 9 patients and may have a patient ratio of up to 1:9. Applicants should be comfortable managing patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs. The role may involve working holidays and weekends as assigned. Flexibility is required for on-call responsibilities as needed. This position is not open to local candidates within a specific radius. Preference is given to candidates with experience in de-escalation techniques.
