Location: Liverpool, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
Base Salary: $1,600-$1,800 per week ($83,200-$93,600 annually), based on experience
Earning Potential: $110,000+ annually with sales bonuses

First Automotive, part of The Collins Business Group, is seeking an experienced automotive leader who can take responsibility for the entire store.

We're looking for someone who understands how to build a productive team, deliver excellent customer service, grow profitable sales, and keep a busy repair operation running smoothly. You'll work directly with ownership, make sound daily decisions, and provide clear communication about results, challenges, and priorities.

About the Shop

First Automotive has served Liverpool and the surrounding community since 1993. Our approximately 6,000-square-foot facility includes seven service bays. We service all makes and models, support retail and fleet customers, and operate as an authorized New York State inspection center.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily operations, store performance, and the customer experience.

• Manage sales, gross profit, labor productivity, and expenses. Identify performance gaps and follow through on improvements.

• Lead, coach, and hold service advisors and technicians accountable to clear expectations.

• Coordinate scheduling, technician workflow, parts availability, and work in progress.

• Strengthen estimating, service recommendations, customer follow-up, and sales execution.

• Resolve customer concerns and vendor issues professionally.

• Maintain accurate repair orders, pricing, purchasing, payments, and documentation.

• Communicate results, staffing needs, and action plans to ownership.

• Maintain a safe, clean, organized facility and support the service counter when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive service management experience with responsibility for employees and business results.

• Demonstrated ability to coach a team, address performance issues, and follow through on commitments.

• Strong understanding of shop profitability, gross profit, labor productivity, and expense control.

• Ability to use financial and operating reports to make decisions and improve performance.

• Strong customer communication, service sales, estimating, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable using shop-management software and digital vehicle inspection tools.

• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing daily operations without constant direction.

• Available for the full Monday-Friday schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $1,600-$1,800 per week ($83,200-$93,600 annually), based on experience.

• Sales bonuses with total annual earning potential of $110,000+. Actual earnings depend on performance and the applicable bonus plan and are not guaranteed.

• Weekly pay and a Monday-Friday schedule.
