Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Urology Physician to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient care, inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding within a Level III Trauma Center. This position involves a mix of patient contact, procedures, rounding, and consults, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call coverage is flexible based on availability, with a daily schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The practice primarily serves adult patients (18+), with limited robotic procedure availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage outpatient urology cases, outpatient consults, and inpatient procedures
• Participate in call coverage with flexible scheduling options
• Perform assigned procedures and post-op rounding as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies

Qualifications:

• NY Medical License in Hand
• Board Certified in Urology
• Epic EMR experience required
• Up-to-date work history with no gaps of 30+ days
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licensure

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Call hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, flexible based on scheduling

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 20 patients per provider per day

Facility Information:

• Level III Trauma Center
• 4 exam rooms equipped for outpatient services

Team Composition:

• 1 Full-time Provider (Urologist)
• 2 LPNs
• 2 CNAs/CMA’s
• 1 Patient Representative

Certifications:

• BLS required
• Must have NY license in hand

Additional Requirements:

• Ensure current work history and no significant employment gaps
• Must provide physician statement if applicable regarding malpractice

Hourly Pay Rate: $382.20
