Hiring Lathe Machinists in Brighton, MIResponsibilities:Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (vertical and/or horizontal)Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each jobPerform tool offsets, adjustments, and minor program editsMeasure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, etc.)Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality specificationsPerform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organizedTroubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain qualityShifts:2nd: 3:15pm-11:45am3rd: 10pm-6:30amPay Rate: $25-$38/hrJob Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Brighton, MI.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
