Phlebotomist-Part-Time-Sun City

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. Work Schedule 25 hours weekly, Mon‑Fri 7am–12pm with alternating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or 6months or more of phlebotomy experience. In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Additional Job Standards Strong customer service orientation. Ability to handle high volume and multi-task.
