Psychiatric Nurse
This 12a-12p RN Psych Shift is a 26-week contract located in or near League City, Texas. The organization offers competitive compensation and benefits for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate psychiatric nursing care to patients in crisis and extended observation settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Execute crisis intervention techniques to stabilize patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
- Support outpatient clinics as needed, assisting with training and patient care until the new unit opens.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with active state certification
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric RN experience
- Ability to work night shifts
- Reliable transportation within 35-40 minutes of the facility
- Strong crisis management skills
Preferred Skills:
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- SAMA certification
