Work in a collaborative school setting supporting children’s communication growth while benefiting from a structured, supportive environment. Full-time and part-time options offer flexibility whether you prefer a 37.5-hour week or closer to 30 hours. Your primary site will be carefully assigned with your location in mind, and you may occasionally float to a second campus as needed.

What you’ll bring:

• Current professional SLPA license
• Experience or training supporting speech/language in K-5 or elementary settings
• Ability to manage a caseload of 80–90 (peaking at 100) students
• Familiarity with public school procedures and student documentation
• Readiness to meet state fingerprinting and background check requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to comply with credentialing requirements, including completion of an affidavit regarding previous employment history in school districts
• Candidates will be asked if they have prior experience working in Lamar; any previous termination from a school district will require disclosure

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to elementary-aged students
• Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents in goal-setting and progress tracking
• Prepare and maintain detailed session notes and documentation
• Support IEP processes and participate in team meetings
• Manage time effectively across one (occasionally two) campus assignments
• Adapt session plans to meet diverse student needs

This position is on-site, offering hands-on collaboration with educators and meaningful connections with students.
