Whether assisting with activities of daily living, supporting wellness initiatives, helping with medication administration, working in Luminations® (memory care), or simply being a trusted companion, you'll make a meaningful difference every day.In this role, you will:Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toiletingSupport residents in accordance with their personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-beingAdminister medications safely and accurately within your certification and scope of practiceProvide medication assistance in accordance with state regulations and community policies when appropriately licensed and assignedObserve residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing teamBuild meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphereParticipate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special eventsWork collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experienceEnsure exceptional documentation is submitted for all services provided or declinedDeliver care that is professional, respectful, timely and personalizedHelp create an environment where every resident feels valued and cared forWhat You BringWe're looking for individuals who are passionate about service, hospitality, and senior care. Preferred qualifications include:High School Diploma or GED, requiredMedication Technician credentials, required as applicable by state and assignmentOne or more years of experience administering medication, highly preferredOne or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living, highly preferredOne or more years of experience working with seniors, highly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive attitude and genuine desire to enhance the lives of othersAbility to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team membersAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shiftAbility to lift or carry up to 50 poundsWhy Grand LivingAt Grand Living, you'll be part of a team that is passionate about creating remarkable experiences for residents, families, and one another.
