Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: All shifts

Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN)
- Certifications required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Perform a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge.
- Work independently in completing nursing assignments.
- Respond to post-operative recovery needs for patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
- COVID & FLU exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
- Housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start.
