Staff RN - Emergency Department and Med-Surg
The position is located at a Critical Access Hospital in [City, State].
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shifts will be rotating days and nights, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts and will cover every third weekend, with holiday coverage based on rotation.
The Staff RN will provide care in both the emergency department and med-surg department. This role is vital in delivering high-quality healthcare services and support to patients and their families.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the emergency and medical-surgical departments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and health maintenance.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in emergency and/or med-surg nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
