Title
Psychiatric RN - Pediatric & Adolescent

Schedule
Weekends: Yes - every other weekend required

Assignment Details
Daily census on unit: ~18-20 patients

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Can submit with license pending
- Required certifications: BLS (Healthcare Provider); PMAB (Prevention & Management of Assaultive Behavior) - PMAB offered onsite
- Charting system: EPIC required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an inpatient acute crisis setting.
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and crisis interventions.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness and side effects.
- Implement seclusion and physical hold protocols as required, ensuring patient safety.
- Engage in psychoeducation and utilize behavioral de-escalation techniques with patients.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 listed holidays
- Limited time-off / RTO requests upfront during submittal
- Traveler must have a vehicle for this assignment
