ARTC - Supply Technician - Delta Junction, AK

Job Description This position is located in the Arctic Region Test Center (ARTC), Fort Greely, AK. ATRC is responsible for planning and executing test and evaluation programs involving military weapons systems and equipment. Responsibilities Utilize the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) to schedule required maintenance on equipment. Maintain adequate inventory levels of class IX parts and manage ordering, receipt, cataloging, storage, and property accountability. Manage vehicle dispatch, key control, tool room operations, and maintain a library of relevant manuals and regulations. Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a degree, equivalent work experience, certifications, or applicable military training (preferred). Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance prior to and during employment with the company. Physical Requirements Must demonstrate the capability to stand, sit, use manual dexterity, climb stairs, communicate, hear, and see. Must be able to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Must be able to work long and varied hours in extreme weather conditions. Must be capable of frequent squatting, crouching, and stooping. Must pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screening. Additional Desirable Qualifications Basic computer skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work well with others. Self‑motivated and able to work with little or no supervision. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Excellent organizational skills. Prior experience as a TAMMS clerk.
