Shift: Varies (Weekends and Holidays Required)

Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing quality meal service to our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and food service according to facility standards.

• Prepare dining rooms and resident meal trays.

• Deliver meals and beverages to residents in a timely manner.

• Assist residents during meal service as needed.

• Follow sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Clean and sanitize food preparation and dining areas.

• Store food and supplies properly.

• Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments.

• Follow all federal, state, and facility dietary regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous food service experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

• Must be able to pass required background screening.
