Urgent Hiring: Forklift Operator (Mid-Shift)

Location: Northlake, IL

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour | Weekly Pay

Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 10:00 PM (Weekends Off)

We are immediately hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join a highly organized, safety-first warehouse team in Northlake, IL . This position offers a supportive supervisor, hands-on training, and a direct path to a permanent, direct-hire role.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Load and unload large shipments from trailers and railcars.
• Pick customer orders, stage products, and prepare items for outbound shipping.
• Use RF scanners and barcoding systems to track inventory in the Abecas system.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of forklift experience (sit-down required; stand-up or reach truck is a plus).
• Experience with RF scanners and shipping/receiving operations.
• Valid forklift certification preferred (onsite recertification is available if expired).
• Must be able to pass a site safety drug screening and wear steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
