Concrete Worker

About this role


Join a hands-on crew in Carrollton, GA building commercial and site concrete work. You'll be pouring, placing, finishing, and forming on active job sites. This role is physical work, starts early, and moves at a steady pace to meet project schedules. You'll work with a small crew under a foreman, follow site safety rules, and use common concrete tools and equipment. The position offers steady hours, on-the-job training, and clear steps for skill growth - good for dependable people who want consistent construction work close to Carrollton.


What you'll do

• Set forms, layout grade stakes, and prepare subgrade for pours
• Mix, place, consolidate, screed and finish concrete surfaces (floors, sidewalks, curbs)
• Operate hand and power tools: trowels, wrenches, saws, power screeds, and floats
• Protect finished work with curing methods and perform cleanup of forms and tools
• Follow site safety plans, maintain housekeeping, and report equipment issues

What we're looking for

• Able to perform physically demanding work in all weather (lifting, bending, standing long periods)
• Experience with concrete finishing, forming, or flatwork preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and working around equipment
• Reliable transportation to Carrollton jobsite and willingness to start early shifts
• Able to follow instructions, read basic layout marks/grade stakes, and work as part of a crew

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-hour construction safety card or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• CPR/First Aid preferred
• Spanish language skills a plus
