RN - Emergency Department

Job Title: RN ED Location: Rochester, MI 48307. Duration: 13 Weeks with possibility of permanent. Schedule: 12x3, Day / Night Available, No Call. Every Other Weekend must be available for at least one holiday. Traveler Weekly Gross: $2146 Local Weekly Gross: $2052 Available Locations: Rochester, Grand Blanc, Southfield, Detroit etc. All departments are available. Note: ACLS, PALS Required. TNCC, CPI, NIHSS preferred. Level 2 Trauma Center. At least 1 year ER experience in at least a level 2 trauma center. Prior experience in a stroke center strongly preferred. Suburban community ED, 33 Bed unit. Job Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Required Skills & Experience Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
