Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and detailed evaluations to create tailored treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring comprehensive care that incorporates diverse perspectives and specialties.
• Engage actively in continuous education through workshops and updated research to enhance therapeutic techniques and approaches.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal regulations.
• Proactively develop therapeutic relationships to foster trust, safety, and client engagement throughout the counseling process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC in the Community Health Network, you will work with a varied client population consisting of individuals, couples, families, and groups facing challenges related to mental health, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship dynamics. Your expertise will support clients as they navigate their personal journeys toward healing and growth, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong foundation in ethical guidelines and legal standards that underpin effective counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and connect with diverse clients and their families.
• Demonstrated competency in working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
