Director of Catering

Grazie Hospitality is a rapidly expanding hospitality group operating Grazie Grazie, Grazie Mille and Grazie Nonna throughout the DMV market. The company is currently going through a significant growth phase and expects to rapidly expand its footprint across the region over the next 24 months. As the company continues to grow, catering is expected to become a major area of focus across all brands. POSITION OVERVIEW Grazie Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Director of Catering Growth to lead and scale catering sales across the organization. This role will be responsible for driving recurring corporate catering business, expanding social catering revenue, developing strategic partnerships, managing third-party catering platforms, and building scalable systems that support continued company growth. The ideal candidate is both highly relationship-driven and operationally aware, with a proven ability to grow catering revenue in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and works closely with store leadership, culinary leadership, and marketing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Corporate Catering Growth Lead the growth and development of recurring catering revenue across Grazie Hospitality. Build and maintain long-term catering relationships that create predictable weekly and monthly revenue across both brands. Identify, prospect, and convert new catering opportunities across corporate offices, healthcare systems, schools, universities, residential communities, sports organizations, local businesses, and community partnerships. Develop recurring lunch programs, preferred vendor relationships, and strategic catering partnerships within each market. Increase frequency, retention, and overall spend from existing catering clients while reactivating inactive or underutilized accounts. Partner closely with store leadership teams to establish catering momentum within each market and support all new restaurant openings through early outreach, local partnerships, and pre-opening pipeline development. In partnership with the VP of Operations, develop scalable outreach, sales, CRM, and reporting systems that can grow alongside the company as new locations are added. Analyze catering performance, customer behavior, and revenue opportunities to help guide future growth strategy. Work cross-functionally with operations, culinary, marketing, and store leadership to ensure catering growth is operationally executable and aligned with brand standards. Social Catering Growth Expand catering demand across family gatherings, holidays, graduations, birthdays, school functions, and other social occasions. Support initiatives that increase awareness and repeat business for Grazie Nonna catering offerings. Third-Party Catering Management Manage and optimize third-party catering platforms, including ezCater and other delivery marketplace channels. Improve menu merchandising, conversion, profitability, and repeat customer performance across all catering platforms. Outbound Business Development Develop new catering business through proactive outreach, networking, relationship development, and community partnerships. Build local business relationships that drive recurring and long-term catering opportunities. New Store Opening Support Partner with operations and store leadership teams to ensure new restaurant openings launch with active catering pipelines and local business relationships already established. Systems and Reporting Improve lead response times and conversion rates. Maintain CRM discipline and account tracking. Develop reporting and sales tracking systems that support long‑term scalability. Partner cross‑functionally with operations, culinary, and marketing teams to support execution and growth. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of catering sales, business development, or hospitality sales experience. Proven track record of growing catering revenue and developing recurring client relationships. Experience building outbound sales pipelines and driving new business development. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills. Operational awareness within restaurant or hospitality environments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment. Experience with third‑party catering platforms and CRM systems strongly preferred. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Building a meaningful and measurable recurring catering business across both brands. Growth in recurring corporate catering accounts and long-term client partnerships. Material growth in social catering revenue across holidays, family gatherings, school events, and at‑home gatherings. Building repeat weekly and monthly catering relationships that create predictable revenue. Creating strong local partnerships within each market as new stores open. New restaurant openings launching with active catering pipelines and immediate momentum. Improved repeat business, retention, and customer frequency across all catering channels. Development of scalable sales systems, reporting, and outreach processes that can grow alongside the company.
