About the Opportunity

Addison Group is seeking a Medical Assistant on behalf of our client for a direct hire position. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting both patient care and administrative workflows. The ideal candidate is proactive, patient-focused, and comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with operational support. Recent graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply, though experienced Medical Assistants are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly alongside the physician in a fast-paced environment to assist with patient examinations, minor procedures, and specialty treatments while maintaining optimal clinic flow. Perform real-time medical scribing during provider encounters, accurately documenting clinical notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, and orders into the EMR. Room patients efficiently by gathering detailed medical histories, recording vital signs, and performing pre-charting to prepare the provider for seamless appointments. Manage comprehensive administrative and clinical follow-up, including specialty medication paperwork, prescription requests, patient messaging, and lab result communications. Support high-volume daily operations through rapid exam room turnarounds, inventory upkeep, phlebotomy, and floating between providers or clinic locations as needed. Requirements:

1+ years of Medical Assistant experience. Direct experience scribing alongside physicians in a high-volume clinical setting. Dermatology or aesthetics experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical records; experience with ModMed/EMA and real-time medical scribing is a plus. Proven ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment alongside attending providers. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is preferred but not required.
