About The Role

At Thndr, creative work isn't decoration. It helps people understand investing, build confidence, and take action toward their financial goals.

Motion is one of the most powerful ways we do that. From product launches and educational content to brand campaigns and major announcements, your work will turn complex ideas into stories that people understand and remember.

As a Motion Creative, you'll help define how Thndr looks and feels. You'll develop concepts, storyboard ideas, and create motion that reflects the quality of the products we're building and our ambition to set the creative benchmark for investment brands in the region.

This is a creative role, not a production role. We expect you to think before you animate asking questions, challenging ideas, exploring different creative directions, and crafting work that raises the standard for the entire team.

What You'll Do

• Develop creative concepts that solve communication problems through motion.

• Turn briefs into visual stories by exploring ideas, creating storyboards, and presenting creative directions before production begins.

• Design and animate content across product launches, brand campaigns, educational content, social media, events, and presentations.

• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, video creatives, marketers, and product teams from concept to final delivery.

• Ask the right questions to uncover the real problem before proposing creative solutions.

• Present and explain your creative thinking, not just your final work.

• Create motion that is clear, engaging, and purposeful—not animation for its own sake.

• Maintain a high standard of craft across animation, typography, composition, pacing, transitions, and sound.

• Help evolve Thndr's motion language, systems, and creative standards.

• Explore new techniques, tools, and AI workflows that improve the quality or speed of the work.

• Create 3D motion and animation where it strengthens the idea. (Bonus)

What You'll Need

• Strong motion design and storytelling skills.

• Excellent graphic design fundamentals including typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and color.

• The ability to turn complex ideas into simple, engaging visual stories.

• Confidence developing concepts rather than waiting for creative direction.

• Experience storyboarding and communicating ideas before jumping into production.

• Strong proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience creating original design assets, not only animating work created by others.

• A good understanding of editing, rhythm, and pacing.

• Experience with Cinema
