Shifts: Every other weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN to join the ICU unit in Smyrna, TN. This travel position offers a dynamic and supportive environment within a Trauma III certified hospital. The role involves providing high-quality care in a 16-bed unit equipped with advanced medical technology.

Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel

Provide direct patient care with a 2:1 patient ratio
Manage ventilator and sedation requirements
Perform medication titration
Conduct trach placements, bronchoscopies, and cardioversions
Apply AIDET principles and ensure completion of communication boards
Incorporate medication teaching in patient interactions
Collaborate effectively with the ICU team, including secretaries and techs

Requirements of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel

Active BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, and drager vents
Proficient in Meditech documentation
Positive attitude and teamwork skills
