API Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized API Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL, RESTful APIs, and excellent organizational skills. As an API Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a support email box, troubleshooting API-related issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our API processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding basic data governance principles and building reports as needed.

API Support:

• Provide technical support for clients using our APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Email Management:

• Manage and respond to the API support email box promptly and professionally.
• Prioritize and categorize support requests, ensuring timely resolution.

Data Governance:

• Understand and apply basic data governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to implement and maintain data governance policies.

Report Building:

• Generate and maintain reports as needed, using Microsoft Reporting Services and other reporting tools.
• Analyze data trends and provide insights to improve API performance and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supporting RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of basic data governance principles.
• Proficiency in building reports using SQL and reporting tools.
• Prior experience in a similar API support role is a plus.
