Salary Range:$23 - $26 per hour Summary of Role: In this role, you will prepare and perform manual tasks (inspection, deburring, etc.) or run a CNC machine such as drilling, milling, etc., to within close tolerances. In addition, you are responsible for producing high quality parts and materials by reading and interpreting blueprints. Key Responsibilities Set up and maintain tooling in peak condition. Understand specifications and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings, etc. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Supervise the machine while it executes the program and make any necessary adjustments to produce the desired result. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed, and done properly. Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair. Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating any actions taken or needed. Qualifications High school diploma or high school equivalency required. Solid mechanical aptitude. Strong communication skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings preferred. Ability to operate and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, and Word). Strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management. Ability to handle multiple tasks and activities while prioritizing according to requirements. Understands, writes and speaks basic and technical English. Ability to work a variety of shifts if required. 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
