Revenue Integrity, Intern

Interns perform a wide range of duties for many different departments. Some of these duties include: Revenue Integrity – Professional Practices Take responsibility for organization of data sources. Research, write, edit and distribute department newsletter. Coordinate with other departments or other vendors to complete various projects. Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Work with various people around the hospital on different projects. Plan and implement special events (community seminars, races/walks, etc.) Assist Revenue Integrity department in various functions related to chargemaster, revenue cycle, charge capture as well as perform various coding functions some of which may include initial audit and/or applicable data collection. Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Revenue Integrity Medical and or Coding background (apprentice and or externships accepted or individuals seeking RHIA, RHIT, CPC-A, CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC) Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to solve problems and have strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Northside Hospital
