Clearance Secret Position IT Project Manager Responsibilities Plan and coordinate IT project activities to support organizational goals and project objectives Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and timelines Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and performance expectations Manage project risks, resources, and budgets to ensure effective project delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into project plans Coordinate cross‑functional teams to support project implementation and execution Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders Optimize project management processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency Maintain project documentation including plans, procedures, and lessons learned Support the adoption and use of project management tools and platforms Stay current with emerging project management tools, frameworks, and methodologies Provide user guidance and training on project management tools when needed Professional Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field 3–7 years of experience in IT project management or related roles Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Trello Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership Experience working with enterprise IT systems and processes Familiarity with cloud‑based project management and collaboration tools Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines Preferred Certifications Program Management Professional (PgMP) PRINCE2 Practitioner Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) SAFe Agilist (SA) PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) DAU Program Management Certifications Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Salary Range Up to $228,000, depending on qualifications, including relevant certifications, education, years of experience, and demonstrated experience supporting Federal Government programs within the field. Candidates with specialized expertise, industry‑recognized certifications, and strong Federal contracting experience may be considered at the higher end of the range.
