Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in emergency and medical-surgical care is sought for a position in a healthcare organization located in Two Harbors, Minnesota. The role involves caring for both inpatient and emergency department patients on a 12-hour rotating shift basis. The position offers an opportunity to work in a busy inpatient unit with extended emergency services.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour variable shifts, with day and night options
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; 2-3 years of emergency department experience; Medical-Surgical (MS) experience; Epic charting experience; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for inpatient, observation, hospice, and swing bed patients; comfort with extended emergency department bed management
• Float: Float rotation may be required to combined medical-surgical and emergency units; may also serve in infusion therapy clinics for medication co-signing or break relief
• Additional Information:
  • Nurses may work every weekend or two out of three weekends.
  • Holidays are required as needed.
  • During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will be required to wear a mask at all times, in accordance with policy.
• Responsibilities: Provide quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, maintain compliance with facility protocols, and document in Epic electronic health record system.
