Role Description This is a full-time on-site position located in Bellingham, MA, for a Mechanical Inspector at Algonquin Industries Inc./Hi-Tech Metals Inc. The Mechanical Inspector will perform quality assurance and control functions, including mechanical inspection, measuring and evaluating parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements. Duties include conducting inspections with precision measurement tools, verifying product dimensions, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues. The role requires a proactive approach to quality and the ability to ensure that all components meet the company's quality standards. Qualifications Proficiency in Mechanical Inspection and experience with precision measurement tools Strong understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices Knowledge of Inspection processes and standards, including ISO9001:2015 Background in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex engineering drawings and specifications Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus Experience with calibration standards (e.g., NIST, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994) is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Algonquin Industries Inc. / Hi-tech Metals Inc.
