Pharmacy Tech Role Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role involves filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the pharmacy system.
• Assist with prepackaging and final checking of medications for dispensing, in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery to customers.
• Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating medications and supplies.
• Maintain records for lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
• Perform equipment cleaning, calibration, and safety checks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License
