They are an AI driven startup to produce the data and evals necessary for comprehensively automating work enabling agents to learn useful abilities through RL. This is a Full Stack position with a heavy emphasis on the backend. Front end knowledge is critical as well to be a successful Product Engineer. They are looking for someone who has recent experience in working with a startup. What you will do: Build the core simulation platform – a realistic, containerized environment where AI agents perform software-engineering and other professional tasks. Design realistic evaluation scenarios – identify meaningful tasks, define clear grading criteria, and choose the tools/workflows that let agents succeed. Develop a consumer software product – the foundation for our simulation platform, built with a Python backend and a React + TypeScript frontend. Establish engineering standards – automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and clear processes to ensure quality and rapid iteration. Influence technical direction – drive product development, make key architectural calls, and help grow our engineering team at an early-stage startup. Technical Expertise to be successful: React + TypeScript frontend software ML You Might Be a Fit If You Have 5+ years building full-stack products, including leading at least one major project from idea to production. Write fluent TypeScript (React) and Python and are comfortable deploying to Kubernetes-based environments. Have hands-on experience designing robust CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring/observability. Enjoy working closely with users to iterate quickly and deliver polished software.
