Telemetry Technician 0.9 FTE Day

Description Telemetry Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center is 0.9 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift. The Monitor Technician (MT) is responsible for cardiac monitor surveillance for all telemetry units as assigned. The MT is also responsible for the reporting of any arrhythmias and potentially lethal rhythms to a Registered Nurse following the Telemetry Rhythm Notification Guidelines. Interacts directly with physicians regarding the interpretation of cardiac rhythm patterns or changes in patterns. Required Qualifications Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Cardiac monitoring, including interpretation of heart rhythms. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
