As a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Unit, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the care needs of patients. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and reassess care plans, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing and coordinating nursing care in collaboration with physicians
• Educating patients and their families on discharge and aftercare planning
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
• Documenting and reporting all necessary information according to established policies
• Monitoring patient safety and reporting potential risks to physicians
• Delegating and coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development
• Utilizing patient care protocols and standards of practice
• Supporting a recovery-focused environment in community residential settings
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Pediatric experience required
• BLS Certification
• State Licensure in Michigan
