Travel Operating Room Technician - Arvada, Colorado

This assignment places you in a leading surgical unit featuring 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms. You'll work closely with a seasoned team utilizing the latest in medical technology and evidence-based practices, giving you firsthand exposure to complex cases including total joints, spine, transplant (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Build your resume through diverse procedures and self-scheduling flexibility, with mentoring from experienced leaders and the chance to learn unit guidelines and policies that will refine your approach to perioperative nursing.


Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM shifts
• Flexible, self-scheduling after initial round
• On-call required on weekends (8-12 calls per 8-week period)

Relevant Skills & Experience:

• Active DORA & NBSTSA Certifications
• Demonstrated ORT nursing experience
• On-call response time within 30 minutes
• Transplant and/or spine experience highly preferred
• 3+ years of experience desired

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care in a busy operating room setting
• Participate in a range of surgical procedures (from robotics to major transplants)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all unit and hospital policies
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled
