Job Description

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, which include comprehensive physical exams and extensive medical history reviews
• Work collaboratively to assess and diagnose surgical conditions by interpreting radiological images and laboratory findings
• Partner with surgeons to design and implement personalized surgical treatment plans tailored to individual patients
• Offer intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, confirming patient positioning, and skillfully managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Facilitate exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, overseeing wound care, discharging plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical protocols and sterile techniques
• A demonstrated capability to interpret diagnostic tests and contribute to complex patient care decisions
