Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic services in a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• NMTCB certification or ARRT(N) certification.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Connecticut, as required.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience working in a hospital imaging department and familiarity with routine nuclear medicine studies and camera operation.
• Willingness to participate in a call rotation and periodic weekend coverage, as required by the client (call rotation details provided in assignment notes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SPECT imaging and nuclear cardiology protocols.
• Experience with dose preparation and radiopharmaceutical handling in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:00–14:30 (alternative shift may be 07:00–15:30).
• Call rotation: one weekday evening shift (approximately 15:30–19:00).
• Weekend coverage: approximately one weekend every 4 weeks (typical 07:00–19:00).
