DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and containerized environments. The work authorization is not specified and pay range $22-25/hr. This role will work closely with software developers, data teams, and other technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve platform reliability, and help drive the continued evolution of our DevOps practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in cloud technologies and infrastructure automation and is looking to continue growing their expertise in CI/CD, Terraform, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily within AWS environments.

Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications running in Kubernetes/EKS environments.

Assist with deployment processes and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Collaborate closely with software engineering and data teams to resolve infrastructure and application issues.

Monitor system performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement solutions.

Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.

Maintain and improve GitHub-based source control and deployment workflows.

Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Participate in troubleshooting production and non-production environments.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.

Experience working with AWS cloud services and core AWS primitives.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including understanding of services, deployments, networking, and container orchestration concepts.

Experience supporting or administering Amazon EKS.

Familiarity with GitHub and modern software development workflows.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience collaborating with software development teams and technical stakeholders.

Understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Exposure to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of PostgreSQL administration or support.

Experience supporting data platforms or working alongside data engineering teams.

Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, tooling, or infrastructure.

Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
