Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionThe role will support the Senior Director of Strategy & Planning across a range of strategy, operations, and planning activities. Time spent on these areas will shift based on business needs. The Strategy Associate will support workstreams of key strategic initiatives (e.g., long-range strategy development, portfolio diagnostics, mission-critical projects) and ensure the Value-Added Services leadership team is equipped with the data and insights to meet growth imperatives.Strong candidates are versatile team players who learn fast, have high EQ and IQ, and carry a demonstrated record of executing complex analyses and crafting robust strategic recommendations.What we expect of you day-to-day:Support the Value-Added Services strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and objectivesSupport workstreams / projects related to multi-year strategy development and assessments of significant opportunities – including potential acquisitions – and threatsStructure and solve business problems, collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on issues with far-reaching business impactCommunicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional teams and management in a clear, concise, and impactful waySupport Value-Added Services’ senior leadership team by developing thought leadership for internal executive meetings and external client councils / forumsExecute market and competitive research and connect trends to business goals, synthesizing research into consumable strategy outputsProactively manage upwards to pre-empt critical business opportunities and challengesVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)Preferred Qualifications:3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Bachelor or Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).3 or more years of relevant work experience in strategy, strategic planning, or a related role, ideally in a large corporate setting or a top-tier consulting firm.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Outstanding collaboration, teamwork attitude, and ability to learn.Strong communication and presentation skills.Information for US ApplicantsFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $123,000.00 to $ 190,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
