Therapist - Fee for Service-Children and Familes

Job Details Job Location: Wellness Center - Staten Island, NY 10301 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: Master's Degree Salary Range: $50.00 - $50.00 Hourly Job Shift: Variable Fee For Service – Experience working with families and children Therapists will be eligible for Training and Supervision Supplements as well as Performance-based Longevity Incentives after the completion of 3 months, 6 months, and at 1 year of service. Potential to make up to $80,000 and a sign on bonus up to $3000. Flexible Work Schedule: Days/Evenings/Weekends available. Hybrid work schedule. Shared medical benefits, if working 30 plus hours. Responsibilities The Fee for Service (FFS) Licensed Clinician provides practitioner services to children and youth (21 and younger) with behavioral and mental health challenges in their homes and community. Providing psychosocial evaluations and intake assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention and planning, and individual, group, and family therapy. Strong engagement skills, cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations. Must have an understanding of evidence-based practices: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-informed care approach. Clinician needs to develop effective communication with the school system and other child welfare resources to advocate on behalf of the child and family. Must have strong documentation skills and an ability to formulate a treatment plan which includes addressing behavioral issues impacting child’s wellbeing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required. Prior experience working with risk populations needed. Experience providing telehealth services and use of video platforms preferred. Qualifications Masters in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC). Licensed LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC Preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required. Prior experience working with risk populations needed. Experience providing telehealth services and use of video platforms preferred. Benefits Paid supervision time by an LCSW clinician that counts as hours toward LMHC and LCSW licensure. We will pay for all required training needed.
