Job Description
Job Title: RN Supervisor

Must-Have:
Prior experience with PCC.
Experience measuring wounds, but not staging them.


Description:
Responsible for running the building during evenings, nights, and weekends.
Will serve as a building supervisor overseeing floor RN, LPN, and CNA staff.
Not assigned to resident care tasks.
Serves as a resource for staff throughout the shift.
Responsible for monitoring changes in resident conditions and issues.
Schedules outside services such as lab and portable x-ray.
Contacts physicians or nurse practitioners for resident needs or issues.
Only RNs are to perform central line care, chest tube care and management, IV starts, admission orders, and fall assessments.
Accepts residents requiring long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and dementia care for individuals 18 years and older.
Hospice care is accepted in-house, with dedicated hospice rooms available.
Evening and night shifts include one RN supervisor and floor nurses per unit.
Weekend shifts include one nurse manager overseeing all units.
Two additional nurses are assigned to each unit if staffing allows.
No respiratory therapy staff is available, but various therapies may be utilized.
Pharmacy services are on-site during regular business hours.
Emergency medications can be accessed when pharmacy is unavailable.
Caring for residents involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including various therapy and support services.
Participation in care plan meetings is common.
All licensed nurses are expected to work every other weekend.
Holidays may require work if the shift falls on a scheduled day.
No call or standby requirements are associated with this role.
Professional scrubs in any clean color, except for camouflage, are required.
Unit-specific orientation is three days.
