Dental Assistant/Hygiene Adjunct Faculty

What You'll Do

This adjunct faculty will work directly with students in real-world healthcare environments, reinforcing classroom theory through practical application. Responsibilities include guiding students in the safe and effective use of radiographic equipment, ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards, fostering professional behavior, and evaluating student performance in accordance with program objectives. Applicants must be able to work in all clinical settings of the program.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. The ideal candidate must have:

Minimum Requirements:

• An Associate's degree.
• Certification as a dental assistant and/or be a certified dental hygienist with relevant work experience in dental assisting/dental hygiene.

In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for this position, all prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:
