What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Valid GA LCSW license and AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a clinical or hospital setting, with at least 1 year specifically in oncology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients and families
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and intervention strategies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in psych-oncology or related specialty areas
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Previous hospital-based experience, particularly within oncology services

Other Requirements:

• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Willingness to work weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Ability to travel or receive reimbursements as applicable
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adhering to all relevant licensure and certification standards
