The facility is a licensed hospital with a significant number of beds and a dedicated medical staff. It has achieved high ratings for patient safety and nursing excellence. The unit comprises a set number of beds with a specific staff structure for both day and night shifts. The patient-to-nurse ratio is set at a level that aims to allow the charge nurse to assist with care. Equipment used includes IV pumps, wound vacs, and EMR systems. Key skills sought include peripheral IV starts and dressings changes, along with other standard medical-surgical skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others. Floating may be required to other medical surgical units. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend as part of the scheduling.
