Job Summary
  • A $750.00 sign on bonus is being offered to eligible new employees hired in our PCA positions
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week | (3) 12‑hour shifts
  • Nights: 7pm – 7am
  • Rotational holiday and weekend schedule
The Opportunity

Patient Care Assistant – Clinical Decision Unit-Bigelow 12

The Bigelow 12- Clinical Decision Unit is a thirty‑one‑bed new admission pathway that currently serves general medicine patients identified as “short stay,” defined as those requiring inpatient‑level care from 48 to 72 hours.

Qualifications
  • Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
  • Licenses and Credentials Basic Life Support [BLS]
  • Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification]
  • Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician [National Certification] preferred
  • Nursing Assistant- preferred
  • Experience Experience working in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Strong patient/customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
    • Proficient in computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.
