Communications Assistant

Position Title Assistant to Head of Corporate Communications Department The Corporate Communications department manages global external communications on behalf of CAA, including media relations, speaking engagements, advertising, social media, and events, as well as internal communications worldwide. The group also includes a Digital Marketing team and a Creative Services team. Role Overview The assistant supports the Head of the Corporate Communications department and manages a high volume of administrative responsibilities while communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and business partners. Responsibilities Managing high-volume phones and emails Preparing correspondence Maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings Coordinating travel Handling expense reports and general office management Media monitoring and supporting company‑wide meetings Maintaining critical databases Assisting with special projects Qualifications BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience Internship experience within the entertainment industry strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly to shifting priorities High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Collaborative team player who works effectively with colleagues at all levels Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong interest in, and understanding of, the media, entertainment, or sports industries Professional and mature demeanor Location This role will be hybrid, based out of Los Angeles. Compensation & Benefits The base hourly rate for this position is $20.00‑$22.00. The position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
