The Role

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership development position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in retail management. You'll work alongside the Store Manager to learn every aspect of operating a successful grocery store while helping lead the team, improve efficiencies, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and finding better ways to get things done.

What You'll Do

• Learn all aspects of daily store operations
• Lead and support employees across all store departments
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operations
• Help improve store processes and operational efficiencies
• Ensure fresh, high-quality products throughout the store
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Monitor key performance metrics and support store goals
• Prepare to confidently lead the store in the Store Manager's absence

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and leadership potential
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time (approximately 45 hours per week)
• Five-day workweek, including weekends and one evening shift
• Compensation salary range of $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience
• Clear path to Store Manager, with future earning potential of approximately $80,000 annually plus bonus opportunities
